House Rules/Other things to note

We open our home and heart to you with the expectation that you will follow a few basic home rules & guidelines: -

• We do not encourage or allow pets.
• The rates per room are for maximum 2 persons. Any extra persons, including children, requiring bedding will be charged Rs.1,500/- per person extra for bed and breakfast. Only infants sharing the parents bed will not be charged.
• Fresh bedding and towels are put up for guests before each arrival. Linen, including towels are changed every third day. Please hand over towels for drying to the home staff.
• Diapers tissue papers, chips wrappers and otherdisposables are to be thrown in the dustbins provided. No littering please.
• We love our plants and each time you pluck a flower or destroy our plants, our heart sinks. Please help us maintain our greenery. This is something we are very strict about.
• We are located in a serene quiet area. As such, loud music after 10.30PM invites instant complaints from the locals. Make your holiday stress free and play your music soft.
• Our facilities are available to guests staying on the property. If you want to invite friends from outside to enjoy the property or a meal, please be aware that you would require to inform us and provide details of visitors. A cover charge of Rs.1000/- per visitor would also be charged and is needed to be deposited on their arrival.
• Water is a precious commodity. Please do not wash clothes in rooms and bathrooms. This would invite a penalty. You may give your laundry to the staff which will arrange for it to be cleaned at a Laundromat as per their charges and conveyance cost.
• DRUGS are strongly prohibited at the property. Anybody found in possesion of, or doing drugs will be asked to leave the property immediately. There will be no refund in such a case.
• We understand that everybody enjoys their drinks and we expect you to respect other people's enjoyment as well. Drunk and disorderly conduct/Disturbing other guests' peace will not be tolerated, and will result in expultion from the property. No refund shall be provided in such a case.
• Check in Time is after 2:00pm, Check out at latest 11:00am. Early check in and late check out will entail a charge of half day rent.
• The owner might or might not be present at the villa.
• Guests are advised to be careful with children as the property is located at a high altitude with rugged slopes and certain outdoor spaces have open and sharp edges.
• Although the stay is deemed safe, guests are advised to exercise necessary caution as this is a hill area which is forested.
• A refundable security deposit of Rs. 10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupee Only) will be collected before check-in. This amount is refundable if the total number of guests does not increase and the checkout time adheres. This is to be collect by Vista Rooms.
• A damage cover fee of Rs. 500 per night is collected at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable.
• The property is located on a unmetalled track 1 km from the mettaled road.
• It is abutting a forest.
• No food will be served/eaten in the rooms.
• The extra bed in the Attic is chargeable if used as a bed.
• Vista should be informed in advance about guest with any special needs.
• Housekeeping/Cleaning and bedsheet change(s) should be informed before 1200 hrs.
• Soiling of sheets/carpets and damaging rooms will be charged extra.
• All breakages/damages will be charged.
